Modern Slavery Project: Legislative Drafting Seminar

Monday 11 December 2017 to Thursday 14 December 2017

Venue: Houses of Parliament, London

CPA UK will host a Legislative Drafting Seminar from 11-14 December 2017 at the Houses of Parliament in London.

The aim of the seminar will be to provide parliamentarians and legislative drafters with practical advice and support in relation to the drafting and amending of modern slavery/human trafficking/forced labour legislation. Through a series of technical workshop sessions, delegates will share knowledge with one another and collaborate with experts to analyse what makes legislation effective. By the end of the seminar delegates will use this information to help facilitate well-informed policymaking and more potent legislative drafting in their jurisdictions to tackle the scourge of modern slavery/human trafficking/forced labour.
