The 2024 CPA British Islands and Mediterranean Region (BIMR) Conference will be hosted by the CPA St Helena Branch from 18 - 25 May 2024 (in accordance with its weekly flight schedule). Travel will be via Johannesburg. The Conference theme is Addressing Challenges to Sustainable Development in Times of Global Uncertainty, covering a range of topics to understand the challenges many parliaments face. The programme will also include St Helena Day celebrations and the CPA BIMR Annual General Meeting. 

We are looking for a diverse delegation of up to four parliamentarians with knowledge of and an interest in engaging with other parliaments in the region, which includes the devolved parliaments, Crown Dependencies, UK Overseas Territories Gibraltar, Falklands Is. & St Helena, Cyprus & Malta.  CPA UK delegates should understand the different contexts which apply to the Conference cohort.
