What are the barriers for disabled people standing for elected office and how can they be overcome? 

This virtual seminar looked at the obstacles faced by parliamentarians with disabilities, as well as those standing for elected office.

It was organised by the British Islands and Mediterranean Region Commonwealth Parliamentarians with Disabilities Champion, Jeremy Balfour MSP.

The webinar was an interactive space for parliamentarians from across the region to hear from a range of speakers, as well as share views and experiences.
