Legislative Strengthening Seminar to Address Gender-Based Violence and Modern Slavery in Supply Chains

22 October 2024 - 24 October 2024

Venue: UK Parliament

CPA UK is organising a legislative strengthening seminar which will explore ways in which existing legislation may be strengthened to bring about a reduction in gender-based violence and modern slavery in supply chains. This seminar follows an awareness-raising workshop on these same subjects, delivered by CPA UK in Kenya in 2023. The seminar will be attended by parliamentarians from across the Commonwealth, offering an opportunity to develop new relationships and strengthen international networks.

This seminar is funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office.

Please contact Jake Moran (moranjb@parliament.uk) and Bethan Thomas (thomasb@parliament.uk) for information on the modern slavery and gender-based violence programmes respectively.

Westminster Seminar participants photographed with the #EndGBV campaign, as part of CPA UK's wider work in addressing gender-based violence.
