CPA UK welcomed a delegation of 10 Members from the Parliament of Sierra Leone in October last year.

Included in the group were a number of parliamentarians who were elected in the june 2023 election.

The programme focused on effective cross-party cooperation, public engagement, and women's participation in parliament.

Following last year's election, the number of female members doubled to 30% partly as a result of the Gender Equality and Women's Representation Act.
