CPA UK is partnering with the Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD) and the Parliament of Sri Lanka to deliver a Post-Election Seminar in Colombo following last year’s UK and Sri Lankan elections.

The Seminar will promote dialogue between UK and Sri Lankan parliamentarians on their roles and responsibilities as members, as well as giving specific focus to budget & financial scrutiny. The visit is also expected to include a series of bilateral meetings with key stakeholders in Sri Lankan politics and civil society, aimed at supporting the development of bilateral relations and discussing areas of mutual interest.

The programme is expected to take place in one of the first two weeks of July.  A final date will be confirmed shortly. Applications to join the UK delegation are open to members of both Houses. We especially welcome interest from newly elected members.
